God Wants You
Monday, December 15, 2008 at 09:40PM Beyond every other blessing God has given you, the one that matters most is the inexplicable truth that He wants you.
He wants you to live. 'I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD" (Psalm 118:17).
He wants you to prosper. "And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper" (Psalm 1:3).
He wants you to shine. "That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world" (Philippians 2:15).
He wants you to work. "Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is" (1 Corinthians 3:13).
He wants you to laugh. "Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them" (Psalm 126:2).
He wants you to love Him. "Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name" (Psalm 91:14).
He wants you to be with Him. "Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever" (Ezekiel 43:9).
He wants you to choose Him "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD" (Joshua 24:15).
