The Son of Love
Monday, September 8, 2008 at 01:35AM Who is the Son of Love, the Son who is one with the Father and one with the Spirit, predating time
―this Son by definition not the product, but the original view of the God-human union? When the Holy Spirit impregnated the virgin Mary, first obtaining her innocent permission, He implied the promise that one day the Son of Love, our Messiah, could live inside each of us.

Remember when God showed Noah and His family the first rainbow, promising He’d never again destroy us for our sins? That rainbow became the Jesus Road which we might watch as we waited for the Messiah to come.
Because Jesus died on the cross at Calvary, yet defeated death by rising supernaturally to life, His blood reversed the route of the rainbow. Jesus’ blood became the clean red carpet offered to all who want to make their way to God, those of us who hope to find our eternity in His arms.
The Son of Love, promised in every rainbow, whose blood washes us in the DNA of God, adopting us into His family, this is my Jesus. He is the Son of God and the Son of Man; the Lion, the Lamb, and the Shepherd; the submissive Servant and the paramount King; the One who created me with His voice and yet patiently waited for my invitation to cross the threshold of my heart.
Jesus is the Son of Love, and no matter which of His names I call, no sweeter name I know.
