Letting Go

Late Sunday night, I read halfway through quite an inspirational book. Here is an excerpt from page 13 of Sandy Hancock's book "Letting Go: Pathway to an Amazing Life" :

"A couple of months after my son was born, he was taken away and placed in foster care. Within a couple of months after this happened, my husband left me stranded while I was in an auto part store."

How did Sandy get from this low point in her life to claim a life full of love and contentment? How can you let go of whatever is keeping you from claiming the life God meant for you?
